The Vail Eagle Valley campus of Colorado Mountain College consists of a main building in Edwards and
several annexes in Eagle, Gypsum and Avon. The campus serves an area of
1,694 square miles from the Vail Pass to the Glenwood Canyon on an
East-West axis and from McCoy to Red Cliff on the North-South.
The
Edwards Center is a new, comprehensive full-service campus offering
quality academic and occupational degrees and certificates to the
growing population in Eagle County.
Vail
Eagle Valley campus presents the serious learner with some of the most
picturesque and daunting topography in Western Colorado. It offers our
students the opportunity to take full advantage of the challenges of
nature such as white water rafting, hiking, ice climbing, kayaking,
skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing.
The
campus is noted for its progressive educational philosophy centered on
lifelong learning and community service. It serves nearly 4,600
students and is known for its small class size, individualized
attention to student needs, and a motivational learning environment.
Research indicates that the graduates of Colorado Mountain College
generally do better in their third and fourth years of college than
their counterparts from four-year institutions
The Vail Eagle Valley Campus also offers an extensive selection of course offerings through a partnership with Ed2Go.
